The Southern Police District (SPD) has apprehended two drug traffickers in Paranaque City in an intensified drive against illegal drugs.
The SPD carried out another buy-bust operation in Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig City, resulting in the arrest of three suspects, including a minor, and the seizure of 30 grams of shabu valued at PP224,000.
SPD director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete reported that the latest anti-narcotics operation also led to the seizure of more than P1 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, from the suspects identified as Marjorie Ilagan, 40, and Novarico dela Cruz, 27.
The buy-bust operation was carried out in Barangay San Dionisio last Wednesday.
“We are grateful to the community for their support and cooperation in the ongoing fight against illegal drugs, with the aim of creating a safer and more prosperous future for all residents of southern Metro Manila,” said Rosete.
Two of the suspects in the Taguig raid were identified as Pauleen, 26, and Daisy, 19, while the third suspect was a 17-year-old student.
