Over 1,800 Bicolano joined the National Housing Authority’s People’s Caravan: Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa in Daraga, Albay,
The caravan, an initiative of NHA general manager Joeben Tai, offered a variety of comprehensive government services and programs to family beneficiaries at resettlement sites and neighboring communities.
Assistant general manager Alvin Feliciano led the opening ceremony to represent Tai.
Among those in attendance were NHA Region 5 office chief Rolando Ramos, NHA Albay/Catanduanes district manager Teodora Bandojo, chief of staff Joseph Yap on behalf of Albay Rep. Joey Salceda, Albay Gov. Edcel Greco Lagman and Daraga acting Mayor Gerry Raphael Jaucian Jr.
“This is being done by the NHA under the leadership of GM Tai to really bring government services closer to the people. Because apart from housing, we want to give them a new life,” Feliciano said.
