TO boost public service, the Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region has begun operating on Saturdays.
Regional director Roque Verzosa III directed all district and extension offices, and licensing centers under LTO-NCR to operate from Monday to Saturday for the whole month of September.
The schedule aims to accommodate the public who are unable to transact business on weekdays due to work and school commitments. Verzosa said he is confident that the extended hours would yield positive results, particularly with the increased number of people served by the LTO-NCR.
“We expect that our Saturday operations will greatly assist those who wish to transact business with our offices on weekends,” he said. Law enforcement teams are tasked to maintain their operations.
The adjudication office started its operations on Sept. 7.
