The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has reported that some major streets in Metro Manila are still impassable due to continuous rains causing floods.

As of 11 a.m., Infant Jesus Street in Metroville, Barangay Manggahan, Pasig City, remains not passable to light vehicles due to significant flooding and motorists are advised to find alternate routes.

The F. Manalo Bridge in the same village has been reopened in a two-way scheme with narrow lanes for select light vehicles, but it remains under monitoring.

In Manila, the northbound lane of Taft Avenue near the main headquarters of the National Bureau of Investigation and United Nations Avenue is experiencing gutter-deep flooding.

Other parts of Taft Avenue in Manila were cleared of flood as of 9:30 a.m., according to the city’s Department of Engineering and Public Works.

The MMDA also monitored flooded areas in the cities of Caloocan, Manila, and Quezon City.

Gutter-deep floods caused slow vehicle movement at various major intersections, including the southbound lane of Aurora Boulevard and Araneta Avenue, and EDSA Bagong Barrio.

Water levels were measured at six inches deep along E. Rodriguez Avenue; five inches deep along Circumferential Road – 3 (C-3 Road) North Bay Boulevard, and four inches deep along Katipunan Avenue – White Plains, C-3 Road NLEX Connector, Bonifacio Drive, and Lagusnilad in front of Manila City Hall.
