THE Department of Justice (DOJ) launched on Monday its satellite office in Cebu City in keeping with the agency’s thrust to efficiently and swiftly act on complaints and inquiries by providing litigants with free legal services.

In 1985, Ministry Order No. 41 established the Public Assistance Center (PAC) which was turned into the DOJAC by virtue of Department Order No. 204 in 1995.

With PBBMs (Presidet Bongbong Marcos)Bagong Pilipinas campaign that no Filipino shall be left behind, we bridge our geographical gaps to deliver justice to each and every one in real time said Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla.

DOJAC’s services include giving of legal advice, drafting of legal documents, and making referrals to different government agencies.

Remulla recognized the challenge of decentralizing essential government services to the regions.

Despite this challenge, he reiterated his “commitment to relentlessly uphold the rule of law and make justice accessible to  every Filipino.”
