NUEVA Vizcaya Gov. Jose Gambito has launched a new initiative aimed at providing efficient medical services for his constituents.
The program, dubbed “Wellness Caravan: Sagut ni Gayyem ti Umili,” takes advantage of the Department of Health’s mobile health clinic, acquired through the efforts of First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.
Gambito said his administration is committed to surpassing typical healthcare programs to serve the community more effectively.
“Our administration recognizes the importance of innovation and the need to develop programs that are specifically tailored to the unique needs of our citizens, Gambito said in a statement.
Gambito said that the mobile clinic will be utilized not just for medical missions but also for routine check-ups.
From Monday to Friday, the mobile clinic will be dispatched to various barangays throughout the province, accompanied by a full medical team that includes a medical doctor, a dental doctor, nurses, an X-ray technician, and a medical technologist.
