Manila Water Foundation (MWF), the social development arm of east zone concessionaire Manila Water Company Inc., will lead month-long events and activities to celebrate the Global Handwashing Day (GHD) on Oct. 15. It is a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.
