Samurai chefs take over Botejyu

In a culinary spectacle happened at Botejyu Philippines’ SM East Ortigas branch on June 30 when Samurai Iron Chefs showcased their mastery in the kitchen.  Samurai Iron Chefs Satoshi Sasaki and Michelin-starred Takayuki Osanai amazed guests with their cooking skills by mixing traditional Japanese cooking with new ideas to create a fresh Japanese dining experience.

Sasaki, renowned for his skillful preparation of okonomiyaki, crafted a premium rendition of the moonlight egg okonomiyaki, while Osanai elevated the prawn tempura platter to new heights with his meticulous techniques and unique flair.

Launched as part of the Botejyu Philippines’ 7 Samurai Iron Chef campaign in February 2024, the initiative aims to enchant Filipino food enthusiasts by infusing Japanese culinary artistry with local flavors and storytelling. This endeavor not only enriches the dining experience but also fosters a deeper cultural appreciation among Filipino patrons.
