Tiger Kitchen opened its doors in the heart of Manila, offering an elevated and immersive Korean BBQ experience that promises to delight food lovers.

“At Tiger Kitchen, our goal is to broaden the horizons of Filipino diners by offering an extensive array of Korean BBQ options, beyond the classic samgyeopsal,” said store manager Kim Binna.

“While samgyeopsal holds a special place as Korea’s soul food, we aim to introduce a variety of pork and beef BBQ choices that showcase the rich diversity of Korean cuisine,” Kim said.

Conveniently located at the Newport World Resort, Tiger Kitchen is poised to become the go-to spot for both locals and travelers seeking a unique dining experience.

The restaurant’s founders were inspired by a desire to introduce Filipino diners to the rich diversity of Korean cuisine, going beyond traditional BBQ fare.

“Unlike many other places, we provide a broad range of BBQ options, from traditional favorites to unique creations like Beef Tripe Fried Rice with Cheese,” Kim said.

The menu is designed to appeal to a wide range of preferences, making it an ideal destination for everyone from BBQ aficionados to vegetarians.

“Our ability to accommodate various tastes and our innovative dishes make us a unique destination for Korean cuisine. Additionally, we serve a variety of kimchi, providing an authentic taste of Korea and enhancing our diverse culinary offerings,” Kim added.

A highlight of the Tiger Kitchen experience is the restaurant’s use of dry-aged meat, a technique that elevates the quality of each dish.

“We age our cuts in a low-temperature environment to enhance their flavor and texture, resulting in exceptionally juicy and tender meat. This meticulous process ensures each bite is rich in flavor and has a melt-in-your-mouth quality,” Kim said.

The dining experience at Tiger Kitchen is complemented by a thoughtfully designed space that blends modern luxury with traditional Korean elements. With a capacity to comfortably accommodate over 100 guests, the restaurant is ideal for group reservations and special events.

For those seeking a more private dining experience, VIP rooms are available, adding an extra layer of exclusivity.

The restaurant’s Korean chef, Ji Young Jin, who has over 20 years of industry experience, ensures that each dish reflects the true essence of Korean cuisine.

“Our menu is crafted by an experienced Korean chef with over 20 years in the industry, including experience at a five-star hotel in Korea,” Kim said. “This expertise is evident in our dishes, which are continually updated to introduce new flavors and experiences.”
