Consumer finance app BillEase introduced a convenient credit line that functions like an e-wallet but without the need for an initial deposit.
“Once customers sign up, they receive a credit limit, allowing them to make purchases at more than 10,000 partner merchants online and in offline stores,” BillEase chief finance officer Garret Go said in a news briefing at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.
He emphasized BillEase’s commitment to affordability, transparency and efficiency, highlighting services such as mobile top-ups, bill payments and cash loans—many available without interest or fees.
Go also underscored the platform’s 99-percent automation rate, ensuring rapid access to funds when customers need it most.
“We launched BillEase in 2017 with a clear vision: to broaden financial options that cater to our customers’ needs. By leveraging machine learning and AI, we operate more efficiently and offer affordable financial solutions without hassle,” he said.
BillEase head of merchant products Kurt Molina discussed the advantages of using BillEase when shopping with QRPH, which is available at 600,000 merchants nationwide.
BillEase chief marketing officer also Jose Fernandez introduced Kim Chiu as the company’s new brand ambassador. “This partnership highlights BillEase’s mission to make online shopping and bill payments more accessible through flexible payment options,” Fernandez said.
