Belle Corp., a property and gaming firm controlled by the Sy family, is bullish on the gaming business as it awaits government’s approval for its planned second integrated resort project in Clark Freeport, Pampanga.
Belle president and chief executive Armin Raquel Santos said in a disclosure to the stock exchange the group remains upbeat on its growth prospects and on the Philippine gaming market despite industry headwinds. He also expects Clark Freeport to rise the next gaming and tourism hub.
Belle ‘s gaming-focused investment company firm Premium Leisure Corp. applied for a gaming license from government regulators last year to develop an integrated resort in the former American air base.
Aside from Clark, Raquel Santos said Belle, through its gaming subsidiaries, continues to explore and pursue related ventures and high-growth opportunities in the gaming space that will enhance shareholder value, while delivering its commitments to all stakeholders.
