Philippine stocks decline ahead of BSP policy meeting

The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index closed lower on Thursday as investors awaited the results of the Monetary Board’s policy meeting.

The PSEi closed at 6,404.91, down 19.30 points or 0.30 percent, from Wednesday’s finish. The broader all-shares ondex also lost 9.12 points or 0.27 percent to settle at 3,417.69.
