The Batangas Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BFCCCII) concluded its election for the 53rd to 54th terms, with Huang Zhi An being re-elected as president.
Under Huang’s leadership, the chamber achieved significant milestones across various sectors including public health, disaster relief, education and in fostering Philippine-Chinese relations.
Huang and his team received commendations for their proactive efforts in combating Covid-19 and providing crucial disaster relief support. They also made substantial contributions to educational initiatives and worked diligently to strengthen ties between the Philippines and China.
The induction ceremony for the newly-elected staff members is scheduled to take place at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum on June 30 at 11 a.m. The event will be conducted in collaboration with Batangas Kipsi Memorial School Inc. and the Batangas Filipino Chinese Fire Volunteers Association.
Dr. Cecilio Pedro, president of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII), will preside over the ceremony as keeper of oaths, while Governor Hermilando Mandanas will deliver the keynote address.
This ceremony promises to be a momentous occasion, celebrating continuity in leadership and reaffirming the chamber’s commitment to serving the Batangas community and beyond.
