If she wins the presidential race in 2022, Vice President Leni Robredo wants more employment opportunities for the Filipino people.
She cited her “Hanapbuhay Para Sa Lahat” program designed to generate more jobs for Filipinos.
“We must stop corruption, cronyism and abuse in the system. We will eradicate syndicates using the government as a form of business. We will make an equal market and ensure that the government would honor its words,” Robredo said.
She said there should be clearer strategies to be able to produce competitive Filipinos and an improved implementation of the Ease of Doing Business Act.
The Vice President vowed to support the digital transition in the government system.
“Through this, investors would have the confidence in our system so that there would be fresh investments, businesses would flourish, thus there would be new available jobs,” she said.
“We will focus on making our maritime training at par with international standards. We will integrate the maritime industry in the curriculum for senior high school,” Robredo added.
Among her plans are the modernization of ports, the creation of an electronic transport industry and a sustainable agriculture, and the development of the technical industry.
The Vice President vowed to end discrimination at the workplace through the passage of more comprehensive anti-discrimination laws, such as the anti-age discrimination act.
