No, this has nothing to do with the clothing brand that carries the name. Nor it is about that “aggressor”, “powerful” or “superior” position in an act of sexual congress between two consenting adults, that happens to be men.

Yes, man of the moment, Andrew Gan, lead star of the independently produced by BRAGIAS TV (no network or telecommunications affiliation) boys love drama Limited Editions, guns himself to the top as Jethro, the cosmopolitan man of the world who hails and has a career in New York. He is the object of affection and desire of Mario, the character that Jomari Angeles portrays with boyish charms and refreshing innocence.

Adding more rainbow to the online production is Ron Angeles, as Arnold, Jethro’s rival to Mario and Donna Cariaga, the fag hag for all seasons.

The love-triangle-centric pink offering is now in its mid-season with the past four episodes earning more than one million cumulative views.

To the pleasantly surprising love and viewers that the BL receives, Andrew reacts: “It is something that all of us did not expect. It was amazing to see that after the first episode, the views are impressive. And they are organic.  And the reactions to it are positive. The kilig from Jethro and Mario, ang daming nakaka-experience. It feels great.”

As the newest leading man on the BL block, Andrew says: “I am grateful that the characters that Jomari and I are portraying get the love and support. I think the story that we have, since it is wholesome and fun, appeals to the viewers. Brush with first love and that magical moment of true love’s kiss is what we offer.”

“There is a certain magic that Jethro and Mario possess,” Gan adds. “I think the chemistry I share with Jomari is palpable because we are committed to the characters we portray. We are honest, especially on how they feel and what do they mean to each other.”

He comes clean: “Acting is always reacting and when you have a generous partner to work with, the scene work becomes easier. Initially, Jomari and I had our awkward moments since it is the first time that both of us are in the shoes of two men who falls in love with one another. We had awful long silences and we cannot look at each other eye to eye and then we burst into nervous laughter.  But as we shoot, we did arrive at that level of comfort na second skin na namin sina Jethro and Mario.”
