Tel Aviv flights seen to lift PH-Israel ties

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry said Wednesday it expects to take the Philippines’ and Israel’s bilateral relations to the next level with the launch of Philippine Airlines’ direct flights between Manila and Tel Aviv by October 2021.

PCCI president Benedicto Yujuico said the planned flights would open more opportunities to business and tourism sectors. “I hope that when the travel restriction is relaxed, we at the PCCI will be able to proceed with a plan to bring a high level business delegation to Israel, not only to cultivate this this exchanges, but also to enhance rapport with the Israeli business community,” he said Wednesday at the Philippine-Israel Agro-Technology Forum.
