Seized from the suspects were 16 kilos of shabu worth P108 million, a mobile phone, a black Ford Everest (IO- 4444), assorted personal belongings and the buy-bust money.

The Makati City police station led by Lt. Angelo Mendoza conducted the buy-bust operation along Kalayaan Avenue in Barangay West Rembo around 9:40 p.m.

In Muntinlupa, anti-narcotics agents led by Police Maj. Peter Aquino made the same entrapment operation along Muntinlupa Highway around 9: 05 p.m. in Barangay Tunasan and arrested five suspected drug dealers and seized 2,000 grams of shabu worth P13.6 million.

The suspects were Liezel Julhasan alias Manay, 40, Donnalyn Julhasan Dichoson, 21, and Rovelyn Enot, 40, all residents of Muntinlupa City; and Denver Porlahe alyas ‘Kuya Dong’, 19, and Sharifa Kuly, 28, both residents of San Pedro, Laguna.

The other pieces of evidence recovered were seven mobile phones, four identification cards, a red Toyota Wigo with registration plate DAI 6096, and the money used in the entrapment operation.

The Muntinlupa City Police-Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the entrapment with the help of agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-National Capital Region.

The seven suspects are now detained and will be charged.

Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Eliseo Cruz commended his men and the PDEA team for the latest accomplishment.

“We praise these men for a job well done and for making sure that no pandemic can stop them in going after lawless elements,” he said.

Cruz said the SPD and the police stations under its jurisdictions were conducting a series of operations as part of the continuing crackdown on drug dealing in the southern part of Metro Manila.

He said the SPD will continue the intelligence-driven anti-illegal drugs operations, particularly on middle level high valued targets.

“This kind of illegal activity will never be tolerated and may this be a stern warning to all criminals that southern Metro is not a place for them to do their business especially if it’s illegal,” the SPD chief said.
