Direct selling company Avon Philippines, known for its cosmetics, apparel, and household products, has been named a Top Employer in the country by the Top Employer Institute on account of its employee work policies.
The company was recognized for its dedication to cultivating a better world of work through excellent HR (human resources) policies and people practices.
Only a select group of organizations are certified based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. The survey covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being, and Diversity and Inclusion, among others.
“Avon was founded as a company for its people, and we are dedicated to this commitment by continuously improving our people practices, thus furthering our associates’ ability to serve our representatives,” says Razvan Diratian, Avon Philippines general manager. “We take care of our own so that we may take care of our partners, and in effect, do good for our customers and the communities we serve.”
Avon Philippines joins Avon Czech Republic and Avon UK as the company’s Top Employer-certified markets.
The latest certification follows the direct seller’s win at HRD Awards Asia, where it received regional recognition for its Best Workplace Flexibility programs.
