Local tourism is gradually reopening in the country, with many destinations beginning to welcome guests again—Coron in Palawan being the latest on Dec. 1—in a bid to help the hard-hit tourism sector rebound.
But as many remain apprehensive about traveling or feel burdened by figuring out requirements, a booking platform launches a campaign that aims to make domestic travels easier for Filipinos.
With its “Pilipinas, You’re Worth the Wait,” Klook rolls out a wide range of staycation and activity packages, including discounts and bundled offers.
Enjoy up to 50 percent off on hotel bookings at Shangri-La Hotels, Anya Resort Tagaytay, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, and more. The staycation products include bundled offers with food and beverage credits, free messages, tours, and day passes.
For day trips and quick getaways, there are Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa in Antipolo, Nurture Wellness Spa in Tagaytay, Enchanted Kingdom, Inflatable Island, and Zoobic Safari.
Considering safety as one of the primary concerns of customers, Klook said it had ensured all featured activities comply with enhanced safety and cleanliness protocols such as body temperature checks, personal protective equipment for staff, and regular sanitation.
It has also launched its Klook-powered Contact Tracing System for local attractions to use for free. This is currently being implemented at Cebu Ocean Park and Bakebe and will soon be launched at Manila Ocean Park, The Dessert Museum, Art in Island, Zoobic Safari, and more.
The activities are open-dated and valid until December 2021. To make payments easier, travelers can also choose to pay for their hotel getaways in installment for up to 24 months through Klook’s partnership with Tendopay.
The platform also has weekend flash sale events until Dec. 13. Go to www.klook.com/en-PH/promo/ph-worththewait for more information.
