Kia Motors Philippines, a member of the Ayala Group, opened four new dealerships in the country as it remains optimistic on a sales rebound despite the health crisis.

“Kia Philippines hopes to continue the gains it has made in 2019 by expanding our reach and allowing us to give Filipinos more surprises,” said Kia Philippines president Manny Aligada.

The four new dealerships are in Marikina, Fairview, Isabela and Bonifacio Global City. The four will offer sales and after-sales services to help customers.

Kia expects to launch more dealership contracts by the third quarter this year to expand its reach and make the Kia brand more accessible to Filipinos.

Aligada said the new Kia dealerships were full sales and service facilities designed to satisfy the needs of customers.

He said more new dealerships were identified for inclusion in the growing network as soon as plans and designs become final. For 2021, more areas will enjoy the brand as the expansion continues, he said.

“We, together with our business partners, are confident that this move will help strengthen the brand’s presence and show the Filipino people that we are here for them, despite the challenges we are facing today,” he said.

The brand posted a 124-percent sales growth in its first year of operations under the Ayala Group as it unveiled new models such as the Soluto, the Seltos and the Stinger.

The introduction of new models in 2019 set the tone for the brand’s expansion in 2020.
