Meralco PowerGen Corporation (MGen) and San Buenaventura Power Co. Ltd. (SBPL) recently donated P1.5 million worth of goods to aid the Quezon provincial government’s COVID-19 relief efforts.

The companies turned over 425 sacks of rice, and more than 200 boxes of canned goods to the Quezon Provincial Social Welfare Office in Lucena City.
MGen owns 51% of SBPL, which operates a 500-MW supercritical coal-fired power plant in Mauban, Quezon.
