The Philippine National Police formally received essential medical and dental equipment from the Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. (AFPMBAI) during a Courtesy Call and Turnover Ceremony held Monday at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Representing AFPMBAI was its President and CEO, retired Rear Admiral Dorvin Jose Legaspi, who led the ceremonial handover of the equipment, followed by the signing of the Deed of Donation with PNP chief, General Nicolas Torre III.
The signing was witnessed by Major General Neri Vincent Ignacio, Director for Logistics, and Jeffrey Richard Nixon Matthew Uy, head of the Social Services Office of AFPMBAI.
The donation, valued at P7,862,500.00, includes one unit each of: Radiolucent OR Table, OR Table, Medical Body Composition Analyzer, ECG Machine GE MAC-600 (3 channels), Dental Chair with Accessories and Compressor, Dental Apex Locator, and Surgical Motor Dental.
In a statement, the PNP said the equipment will be turned over to its health services arm, further enhancing its capacity to deliver high-quality medical and dental care for police personnel.
“This significant contribution reflects the enduring partnership between AFPMBAI and the PNP, aimed at improving the health and operational readiness of police officers,” it said.
