The engineering team of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) continues to remove and clean obstructions on the train tracks, after the devastation by Typhoon Kristine. The PNR trip on the Lucena-Calamba-Lucena route is still canceled, even its routes in the Bicol region. This is to facilitate the ongoing assessment of PNR infrastructure. PNR’s priority is to ensure that the trains, including the tracks and bridges, are safe and in good condition before resuming trips.
