Ayala Land develops Arca South transport terminal

Property giant Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) is enhancing its leadership in building connected and sustainable communities with the new Arca South Transport Terminal in Taguig.

This terminal is part of a larger master-planned estate and covers two hectares. It is set to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025. The transport terminal will improve accessibility and livability in Arca South, which is becoming a dynamic mixed-use development. It aims to bridge gaps in transportation infrastructure while the TCITX (Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchange) project is underway.

The terminal will be located along Arca Boulevard and will improve connectivity for office workers and residents. It will make commuting more efficient and convenient. The terminal will be operated by Interlux Corp., ALI’s partner, and will support various public transport modes, including buses, jeepneys, AUVs, and tricycles.

In addition to transportation services, the terminal will feature retail spaces, including food and beverage kiosks. This will provide added convenience for passengers and visitors. Amenities will include well-maintained restrooms with provisions for persons with disabilities (PWDs) and a dedicated lactation room for breastfeeding mothers.

ALI will also relocate the popular AANI Weekend Market to the terminal site. This move allows the market to continue offering organic produce, fresh seafood, and free-range poultry while serving the growing Arca South community. The market will also feature plants and ready-to-eat meals, making it a vibrant hub for commuters and local residents.

Key developments in the area include residential and office buildings, Landers Superstore, and the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital—the first comprehensive cancer care facility in the country. The growth of the estate will continue in 2025 with the addition of Ayala Malls Arca South.

At Arca South, Ayala Land combines essential elements of modern living to create a “live, work, and play” experience for the community. The estate integrates parks, open spaces, transport systems, retail outlets, leisure activities, residential communities, and commercial hubs to meet the evolving needs of contemporary lifestyles and businesses.
