Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police (PNP) dismantled a suspected drug den in Bacnotan, La Union.
According to PDEA Regional Director Joel Plaza, a 39-year-old man, who is suspected to be the caretaker of the alleged drug den; a 63-year-old barangay guard; and a 25-year-old man were arrested in the raid.
Law enforcers confiscated 12 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a crystalline substance suspected to be shabu estimated to weigh 30 grams and worth P150,000.
Aside from the suspected shabu, the group also confiscated a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected marijuana dried leaves estimated to weigh 1 gram worth P1,500 and a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected marijuana seeds which weigh approximately 2 grams worth P500.
The authorities also obtained non-drug evidence from the said drug den.
