City of Dreams Manila received three awards at the Stelliers Asia Awards 2024, recognizing its contributions to the hospitality industry. Property President Geoff Andres was named Green & CSR Hotelier of the Year, Vice President for Human Resources Thesz Liwanag was recognized as Human Resources Hotelier of the Year, and Rooms Division Training Manager Ardie Valerio was awarded Unsung Hero of the Year.
Andres highlighted the team’s dedication to sustainability, noting the resort’s progress in achieving its environmental goals. City of Dreams Manila has previously earned recognition for sustainable practices, including being a finalist in the Forbes Travel Guide Responsible Hospitality Award.
Liwanag, part of the pre-opening team, leads initiatives aimed at improving employee welfare and engagement. Under her leadership, 2,606 volunteers have participated in corporate social responsibility activities since 2023.
Valerio, who joined the resort in 2014, was honored for his behind-the-scenes contributions. He previously won the resort’s President’s Award in 2022 and was a finalist in the 2023 Mabuhay Awards.
The Stelliers Asia Awards 2024, held at the Four Seasons Bangkok, recognized hospitality professionals from 12 countries. The awards resumed after a four-year break, honoring 89 finalists across 19 categories.
