Actress Arlene Muhlach recently achieved a significant milestone by earning her college diploma. At 55, she now holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the Philippine Women’s University. The actress shared her sentiments about the long journey she took to achieve this goal.
On social media, Muhlach posted photos from her graduation day, along with words reflecting on how she finally accomplished one of her life goals.
“I stopped my college studies in my third year many years ago when work was offered to me. Then my family came, and my priorities changed,” she wrote in her caption.
Grateful for proving that it’s never too late to pursue a goal, she thanked her professors and blockmates in the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), as well as her colleagues at the IRS in the Commission on Appointments for their patience and support.
Muhlach also expressed gratitude to her husband, Warren Dandoy, and their children, Aliyah and Augusto, for encouraging her when she was close to giving up on her degree.
“Age is just a number. Determination and passion are what truly matter,” Muhlach concluded.
