“PAL’s ultimate seat sale allows passengers to book and fly immediately or plan their travels for later, all while benefiting from the most competitive prices of the year,” it said.
Meanwhile, PAL renewed its partnership with SMAC (SM Advantage Card) for its Mabuhay Miles, the airline’s frequent flyer program.
The alliance, which started in June 2022, brings together the two largest loyalty programs in the country.
“This partnership represents more than just a synergy between two esteemed brands; it signifies a commitment to enhancing the lives and experiences of our loyal customers, setting a new benchmark for the industry,” said PAL president and chief operating officer Capt. Stanley Ng.
“As we embark on this renewed journey together, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making this partnership a reality,” he said.
SMAC chief operating officer Kevin Hartigan-Go said SMAC was guided by a commitment to service excellence and offered unparalleled shopping experiences to its valued members for over 20 years.
“We are grateful to have found a partner in PAL Mabuhay Miles that shares our values and dedication to providing the best services and fostering customer loyalty,” Hartigan-Go said.
The partnership also introduces an improved conversion rate where members can enjoy increased value with their SMAC Points and Mabuhay Miles.
The conversion structure of SMAC points to Mabuhay miles and vice versa will be higher effective Sept. 1, 2024. This will now allow members to shop more and fly more.
