Philippine Navy’s BRP Filipino Flojo (PC386) launched its disaster response assets during a training exercise.
The Navy stated that the launch and training exercise on the operation and handling of rubber boats play a critical role in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations.
“This specialized equipment is designed to enhance our capability to execute search and rescue missions in challenging maritime environments,” the Navy added.
The training is focused on mastering the operational techniques required to handle the rubber boat efficiently and ensures that personnel are fully prepared to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations.
