PCG’s crucial mission

The Philippine Coast Guard takes part in a simulation exercise with a professional salvaging company at Lamao Port in Limay, Bataan preparatory to siphoning industrial fuel from the hull of the sunken MTKR Terranova vessel. Officials of pertinent government agencies including the Office of Civil Defense, the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the Department of Science and Technology, as well as the United States Coast Guard and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are on hand during the drill.
