Avida Land has unveiled In Her Future Memories, the winning mural of its South Park District Mural Design Competition. Towering at 20 meters, this masterpiece isn’t just the largest creative mural in the south, it’s a colorful portal to a world where technology and nature seamlessly collide.
Serving as a testament to Avida’s commitment to champion local artists, the mural is the brainchild of Jhocel “Anthony Marahuyo” Malicsi and his team of 13 talented artists: Rheydene Luca Ortega, Rhealhet Luca Ortega, Laurence Sebolino Gutierrez, Ma. Aleilyn Joyce Domingo Botin, John Roland Alipis, Ainafer Rupal Arena, John Alexis Rupal Arena, Roma Nieves Huet, Rica Permejo, Mia Jormalyn Astrera Balaoro, John Lenarrd Soriano Barua, Michael Grospe Autos, and Jefferson Panghulan Parajas. On board to handle logistics for this team were Jerome Edianel Carandang, Charmaine Abiado Camba, Paul Denvir Delmonte, and John Carlo Decrepito.
Their vision, adhering to the competition’s theme of “Part City, Part Nature, Pure South,” manifests in a stunning fusion of technology and nature. The mural features s female cyborg with her mechanical parts blending harmoniously with vibrant tropical flowers. The left side, where the flowers give way to a futuristic cityscape, invites viewers to “dream of the possibilities that lie ahead.”
Avida Land Marketing Head Tess Tatco describes In Her Future Memories as more than just art but an invitation “to step beneath the canvas, feel the city’s pulse merge with nature’s heartbeat, and rediscover the charm of the South.” She also envisions not just Avida residents, but everyone, joining this artistic pilgrimage.
“We are so excited to see an additional feature for Avida Land projects down south. This will be so nice to see with the existing Reginald Yuson art installations and I’m sure people would flock to this area as we invite everyone to see it themselves. The Part City, Part Nature, Pure South was a fitting theme for this, blending modern styles, technology, and nature,” she adds.
“Coming to the south is just a great combination of [the] city and the quietness of Calabarzon. Avida Towers Altura and Avida Towers Ardane are located here, this is what it is all about. It’s industry and aesthetics, and these artists show passion doing it in 12 days, and as we grow, we hope this reminds the people who live in the development, we are so happy to have your work here,” Avida’s Brand Marketing Head Ann Baylon Jara says.
The mural is located at South Park District, National Road, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Come and see In Her Future Memories for yourself and step beneath the towering canvas to feel the pulse of the city and nature merge.
