Philippine Army (PA) chief Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido has bared his command guidance to the army’s top brass emphasizing innovations and adept military operations.

Galido recently held his first command conference via video teleconferencing and onsite in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on Jan. 13.

The first command conference for the year reviewed and evaluated the role of the PA as a reliable, responsive, and relevant force provider to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP); highlighted the key accomplishments of the PA units; and disseminated updates, plans and programs of the HPA’s General Staff.

Galido conveyed his command guidance, giving marching orders to the 110,000 members of the PA to amplify “an effective and disciplined organization ready to face the challenges of becoming a multi-mission ready, cross-domain capable and world-class Army.”

Galido also encouraged the command to step out of the old and embrace new challenges.
