At the recent G Creator Night, Globe presented a remarkable fusion of art and technology, offering the Filipino art and creative community an enchanting encounter with the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at The Wisdom of Da Vinci exhibition.
The event held at One Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City shattered preconceived notions about AI’s place in the creative realm.
The exhibition transcended mere algorithms and code to become an immersive journey into the psyche of Leonardo Da Vinci, one of history’s greatest minds. Attendees were transported into Da Vinci’s world, navigating interactive spaces that seamlessly blended the past with the present. Mesmerizing stroboscopic effects, innovative QR code activations, and a captivating 360-degree soundscape paid homage to the maestro’s unparalleled creativity, providing a fresh perspective on his timeless masterpieces.
The exhibition was divided into two chapters: “Poetic AI,” which explored the lyrical beauty of AI, and “Da Vinci & The Masters,” a tribute to the genius of Da Vinci and his contemporaries.
The event drew an impressive gathering of Filipino artists and creators, including TRNZ, Is Jumalon, BITTO, and the dynamic duo of Patrick and Sam Cabral. Creators Marvin and Sara Conanan of Purveyr, John Deseo, and community builder Martin Eusebio, along with gallerists Raymond Ty and Kassy Lei of Art ToyPH, Inas Amoyo of Vinyl on Vinyl, and representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Design Center, Quennie Agabriel and Ken Bunias, were also in attendance.
Anne Calma, Head of Subcultures at Globe, expressed her excitement, saying, “It’s truly exhilarating to witness the creative community’s journey into the realm of AI.
