The job fair gained enthusiastic participation from both the public and private sectors, reflecting the PNP’s dedication to fostering collaborations that benefit the local community.

This initiative is a proactive response to the employment challenges faced by the densely populated Brgy 176, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, home to around 360,000 residents.

A total of 14 recruiting companies participated in the job fair, offering opportunities to a remarkable 2,500 applicants from the community.

Okubo stressed the significance of R-PSB’s role in bridging the gap between the government and the people, ensuring that community concerns are effectively communicated and addressed.

Okubo reaffirmed the importance of sustained collaboration with PESO and TESDA to deliver initiatives that positively impact the lives of citizens.

This event also serves as a testament to the PNP’s support for Executive Order 37, signed by the President on August 10, 2023. The order emphasizes interagency cooperation for the holistic development and security of the nation.

PNP chief Gen. Benjamin  Acorda Jr., commended Okubo for his “exceptional leadership and dedication” in

spearheading the successful R-PSB Mega Job-Fair.

“This initiative not only reflects the PNP’s commitment to community engagement but also exemplifies our agency’s relentless efforts to create tangible positive impacts in the lives of our citizens”, General Acorda added.
