Archeologists from the University of the Philippines and the National Museum of the Philippines namely Timothy Vitales, Dr. Hermine Xhauflair, and Dante Manipon show stone tools recovered from the Tabon Cave in Palawan dating to 33,000 to 39,000 years ago. The stones were evidence of basket and rope making in prehistoric Southeast Asia, researchers said.
