Artist’s corner

While some people find art as an escape or medium of expression, others use their talent for a more lucrative purpose. Such is the case of Kenneth Galindo, 22. Early in his life, Galindo recognized his passion and skill for drawing. He eventually began to draw various pieces to enhance his abilities and become a famous artist.

Venom vs. Carnage. A piece that took Galindo three nights to finish. It’s his way of practicing the coloring and art style of David Finch, a renowned comic book artist. He made it because he wanted to learn more about the Marvel fighting scenes, anatomy line art, and shading.

He shares that his fame would help him gain an audience and clientele who can commission him for artwork, allowing him to support his family financially.

Galindo also hones his art style continuously to understand and adapt to the ever-evolving art industry.

“I have an art style, but it is a combination of different art styles of diverse artists that I am inspired by. I observe how they draw it and mix it with other artists to achieve what I really want in my style,” he said.

Character heads and bust practice, including Omni Man, Wolverine, Hulk, and Kratos.

The young artist shared that he doesn’t have a permanent approach to his art because he practices various styles to meet client’s requirements for their commissioned art. However, a dominant sight in his creations is detailed images that draw inspiration from cartoons, comic books, or anime.
