The National Economic and Development Authority Board’s Investment Coordination Committee-Cabinet Committee approved four more infrastructure projects.

It cleared the Samal Island-Davao City Connector and the Camarines Sur High-Speed Highway projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Davao Public Transport Modernization Project and the unsolicited proposal for the New Bohol International Airport of the Department of Transportation.

The SIDC project, with a project cost of P23.04 billion, involves the construction of a toll-free four-lane bridge with a length of 2.8 kilometers that can serve around 25,000 vehicles a day.

The Camarines Sur High-Speed Highway project with an estimated cost of P9.23 billion involves the construction of a 15.21 kilometer four-lane highway.  It will serve as an alternative route from Legazpi or Caramoan to Manila.
