The entries of IACADEMY students Aldrich Rivera, Betina Mascenon and Justine Mallari (shown in photo), made it to the finals as Adobe Top Talent 2019 of the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, an annual global digital media competition for students and emerging creators. The ADAA 2019 Top Talent list was released, Aug. 14.
Their entries made it to the finals of the competition out of 10,121 entries from all over the world.
Rivera’s thesis project is called BAHAGI, an activity kit that encourages play therapy to promote a parent and child’s relationship. The activity kit is designed to encourage and practice active parenting, while Mascenon and Mallari’s STRAYS, is a short animated film that aims to mirror current Filipino society and inspire the audience to reflect on the value of human life.
