Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Benjamin Diokno said pushing for the responsible use of financial technology remains a priority agenda of the regulator because of its significant impact to financial inclusion efforts of the government.
In front of a diverse audience comprised of both public and private fintech stakeholders, Diokno talked about the BSP’s policy goals on financial innovation, safety and resilience, and consumer protection during the Bank of Thailand and International Monetary Fund high-level conference held recently.

Diokno also shared insights on the BSP’s financial technology roadmap band and how it addresses the 12 policy considerations laid out in the Bali Fintech Agenda.
