Moriones Festival, an annual event scheduled for the Holy Week, which starts today, Palm Sunday, and whose focal point is culture and religion Marinduque is sometimes described by some Filipinos as the heartbeat of this once described as Perla del Mar de Oriente. The festival’s unique name is derived from the armor worn by Roman soldiers.
