The Department of Education has recently launched its flagship program OK sa DepEd in Muntinlupa City through an interactive session held at Poblacion Elementary School.
OK sa DepEd focuses on five major school health programs of the department: School-Based Feeding Program; National Drug Education Program; Adolescent Reproductive Health Education; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools Program; and medical, nursing, and dental services. DepEd first introduced the program in Makati City.
Present during the launch were Mayor Jaime R. Fresnedi and Congressman Ruffy Biazon. Also in attendance were stakeholders from private companies such as Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc.
