Pump prices went up by P0.80 per liter for gasoline and P0.55 per liter for both diesel and kerosene effective 6 a.m. Tuesday to reflect the movement of world oil prices.
PTT Philippines, Eastern Petroleum Philippines and Seaoil Philippines issued separate advisories of the increase, which does not include the impact of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act.
“PTT Philippines to implement the following price adjustments effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018: Gasoline, P0.80 per liter and diesel P0.55 per liter,” the oil firm said.
The oil firms, however, did not announce the higher prices due to the implementation of the higher excise tax for petroleum products although some stations have already posted an increase in prices.
