“‹The 73-year-old Pan was arrested inside the Jade Tower Condominium along 2nd Avenue, Caloocan City. Pan is allegedly a  fugitive wanted for economic crimes in China.

On the other hand, Krishna is the subject of various criminal complaints including acts of lasciviousness, estafa and issuing bouncing checks.

Morente said Pan will be deported for posing risk to public safety and security due to his being a fugitive.

He added that the Chinese national is an undocumented alien as his passport was already canceled by the Chinese government.

As for Krishna, Morente said a summary deportation order has already been issued by the BI board of commissioners against the Indian for being an undesirable alien.

However, he explained Krishna won’t be deported yet due to pending criminal cases against him before the courts.

Lawyer   Ma. Antonette Mangrobang, BI spokesperson, said both aliens will be placed in the immigration blacklist to prevent them from returning to the Philippines after they are deported.

“There will be no letup in our campaign against aliens who violate our laws.  Foreign fugitives should not use our country as a sanctuary so they can evade punishment for crimes they committed in their homeland,” Mangrobang added.
