Vatel business institution in France hosts Philippine students for internship

The Vatel International Business School of Hotel and Tourism Management recently accepted qualified Filipino students for a hands-on, intensive six-week internship summer exchange program in the city of Nimes in southern France.

A number of students from The School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM) of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) immersed themselves in extensive and thorough restaurant, hotel, and spa operations, planning, management, and day-to-day functions as part of the holistic experience they undergo for the requirements of their respective degree program.

In partnership with DLS-CSB, they offer two-degree programs, namely, Bachelor Vatel-Manager en Hôtellerie internationale, and MBA Vatel Directeur d’Hotellerie Internationale.

For 35 years, Vatel has prepared students for middle and higher management posts in the international hospitality tourism industry. It has 31 schools around the world, with more than 7,000 students presently enrolled in its programs, and over 29,000 alumni who occupy leadership positions in global hotels and restaurants under its roster.

Benilde is a part of Vatel’s global network, a recipient of the coveted Best Hotel School at the Worldwide Hospitality Awards Ceremony recently held at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand. The final selection was made by over 800 hotel industry professionals.
