State-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority is inviting prospective bidders to join the auction for the development of a P12.55-billion new passenger terminal in Clark International Airport in Pampanga province.
BCDA said it was coordinating with the Transportation Department for the bidding of the engineering, procurement and construction contract of Clark International Airport facilities, including the development of a new passenger terminal. It would be open to local and foreign firms.
The project information and memoranda and the instructions to bidders will be available by Aug. 10, while the invitation to pre-qualify and bid may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of P1 million, it said.
The project aims to construct a new passenger terminal building to accommodate 8 million passengers per annum as well as the construction and installation of all required associated facilities – both landside and airside, to support the operations of the new terminal. The construction period is between 2017 and 2020.
