The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), together with Gov. Antonio del Rosario of Capiz and Pueblo de Panay officials, recently turned over a new office building of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), soon to be upgraded from a satellite office to a district office. The building stands on a thousand square meter parcel of land in Pueblo de Panay, a 350-hectare mixed-use township development dubbed as the “city within a city” of Roxas. At the awarding rites were (from left) Pueblo de Panay Inc. general manager Ramon H. Aldaba; NBI regional director Max B. Salvador; PDPI president and CEO Jose Nery Ong; Gov. Antonio Del Rosario; DPWH district engineer Sanny Boy O. Oropel; NBI national deputy director Eleanor Rachel M. Angeles; and NBI Architect Domingo I. Tablizo Jr.
