GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite—The Department of Education in General Trias City is now preparing for the school opening on June 5 with the assistance of the local government
The LGU and DepED will launch on Monday, May 15, the Brigada Eskwela program on all public schools here, 20 days before the first day of school.
As part of preparations for the coming school year, the local government also recently opened the four-storey, 16-classroom building at Pamayanang Maliksi in Pasong Kawayan II, led by Mayor Antonio “Ony” Ferrer, Cavite Sixth District Rep. Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV and DepEd officials.
Also set to open before the return to school are the four-storey, 20-classroom building at the Governor Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. Senior High School in Pasong Kawayan II presented by Pagcor. The LGU is also finishing the four-storey, 16-classroom building of Governor Ferrer Memorial National High School this August, school principal Dr. Prudencio Animas said.
