An Iloilo City resident  who bought a P20-ticket in Barotac Viejo  this city on Saturday won the Grand Lotto 6/55’s   P137, 209,344 jackpot, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office  said on Sunday.

PCSO General Manager Alexander F. Balutan said the winner  placed bet on his favorite numbers (alaga)—08-15-20-23-34-42—which matched the winning  numbers,  34-42-08-15-23-20.

The PCSO official said a Lotto bettor will be considered a winner of the jackpot even without hitting the winning numbers in the order they were drawn, as long as the bettor gets all the drawn combination.

Balutan  said winners of the PCSO’s Lotto games as well as the other lotteries and Scratch it cards may claim their winnings at the charity agency’s Main Office  on  Shaw Boulevard (corner Prince Street), Mandaluyong City.

In the April 22 draw of 6/55,  24 bettors will receive P63,000 each for guessing five of the jackpot numbers; 1,630 bettors will get P740 each for four correct numbers; and 25,187 to have P20 each for three correct numbers of the jackpot.

The draw generated sales of over P30.28 million from more than 1.5-million punters of 6/45, he added.

Balutan said the  PCSO uses its Lotto revenue for its Prize Fund, 55 percent; Charity Fund, 30 percent, and Operating Fund, 15 percent.

Currently, the PCSO has six Lotto games, Ultra Lotto 6/58; 6/55; Super Lotto 6/49; Mega Lotto 6/45; and Lotto 6/42.

Aside from the Lotto games, the charity agency also runs other online lotteries and Scratch it cards with various prizes up to P500,000, as well as its Small Town Lottery.

On Friday, April 21, a bettor in Cebu City also won  P66, 422, 196  for betting on the 6/45.
