Typhoon Signal Number 3 is up over Cagayan, Isabela, Kalinga, Apayao, Ifugao and Mountain Province.
Signal Number 2 is up over Calayan Group of Islands, Northern Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet, La Union, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte and Abra.
Signal Number 1 is up over Batanes, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, rest of Aurora, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Northern Quezon including Polillo Islands, Rizal, Laguna, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes and Metro Manila.
Typhoon ‘Lawin’ is gaining strength and continues to threaten Northern Luzon.
It was located on Wednesday morning at 450 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.
‘Lawin’ packs maximum sustained winds of up to 210 kpn near the center and gustiness of 260 kph.
The typhoon is forecast to move west northwest at 26 kph.
PAGASA warns ‘Lawin’ may bring storm surge of up to 4-meters high.
