Applications are now being accepted for Assistant Language Teacher positions in the 2017 Japan Exchange and Teaching Program.
ALTs will be working in public schools or local boards of education in the prefecture or municipality where they will be assigned. As ALTs, their primary task is to assist in classes led by Japanese teachers of English/Language.
Based on the eligibility criteria, applicants should be Filipino citizens, fluent in oral and written English, below 40 years old and physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
Additional evaluation points will be given to applicants who are bachelor’s degree holder in English or Education, have professional language teaching licence and/or experience and have Japanese language background (JLPT passer).
All applications must be submitted by Dec. 2 in person or via courier to the Japan Information and Culture Center of the Embassy of Japan at 2627 Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City.
